In Henry VI, part 3, Shakespeare has Lord Clifford,
the Earl of Oxford, or anonymous speak the following lines:
To whom do lions cast their gentle looks
Not to the beast that would usurp their den
The smallest worm will turn being trodden on,
And the doves will peck in safegaurd of their brood
Whether the Republicans like it or not, the nation's
economy, that gigantically, hugh worm in America's
woodshed may be turning. And it just may be turning
for the better, which every politician knows is the number
one key to being re-elected. The turn around in the economy
worked well for Clinton and Reagan. It could do the same
for Obama.
Private industry profits just may save the worm from
being squashed.
