CHARIOTS OF FIRE
Ah who are these
Who race around the track
Like unto those chariots of fire
With steel rimmed wheels
Striking stone igniting
And providing sparks
To light the fires
Within the hearts
Of those who would inspire
To higher realms of glory
And beyond? They are
But mere mortal men
With feet of clay
To what heights
Might they aspire
Toward yonder heavens
And then beyond
Past all time
And place and space
Run, ye chariots of fire, run
With conviction and with joy
As we salute you
