Dear Heavenly Father
We thank thee
For blessings so richly bestowed
For this year's Indian Summer
For peace at home and abroad
wherever it may be found
For family members wherever
they may be
For America, the gift of grace
to all
For the new year that awaits us
and beckons us to grow
For little children that keep us young
For sore trials that have softened our
hearts and deepened our dependency
upon thee
For thy Holy Spirit who comforts us
beyond our understanding
For the hope and assurance of life
eternal you Son gives to us
