One of our best sources from wise
and inspirational quotes is often the
refrigerator door.
For some strange reason, in home
after home that we visit, we fin
ourselves gradually gravitating toward
and conversing in the kitchen.
And, there on the front or side of the
refrigerator is a pearl of wisdom or a
diamond of inspiration that perks us up,
sets our sights higher and sends us forth
wiser, warmer and, oft-times, wittier.
Recently we copied the following advice
that seemed to aptly apply to us on
occasion...
"Oh Lord, help my words be gracious and
tender today, for tomorrow I may have to
eat them."
As you can see, it's not always what's
"inside" the 'frige that counts the most.
To us, that one verse above is worth a
turkey leg any day.
May the Lord bless us all that our words
never need tenderizing.
