A CURRENT IDEA 529
A few days ago, when our fuse box
became hot, we called an electrician
to put in a new one.
As the electrician arrived at our home,
we were just going out on some
important business (?). Since we could
not stay, we simply let him in to do
his job.
Later when we came home, we found
that the job was satisfactorily completed.
Now, isn't that something. Here was a
person we did not know, had never met
before, whose name we found had to
pronounce, but whom we accepted
as an electrician simply because he said
he was one, and we trusted him to have
the expertise to get the job done well
simply because he said he could.
We then had the nonchalance to leave
him alone on the assumption he could
get the job done better without any
help from us.
Hmmmm. I wonder if God could repair
and rewire our burned out lives much
better and faster if we were to follow
this same procedure with him?
