ALRIGHT, I'LL WRITE 552
Thomas Jefferson once spoke of the U.S.
Minister to Spain thusly..."I haven't heard
from him in two years, If I don't hear from him next
year, I will write him a letter."
Have you ever noticed how difficult it is
to stay in touch with those who have
meant much to us in the past.
Too many a son or a daughter daily leaves
home after spending 18 or more years protected
and sheltered...without an abiding desire to
keep in touch.
In our search for things that gratify, we have
too swiftly let go of those things that should endure.
Family ties and childhood friendships...Let us
not forsake them too hastily.
