                                   J.J.

                      J.J. passed away today. Orange
in color, he actually was one of
                             Heather's cats.
Usually, he was very quiet except
when wanting to be fed, which was
                             often.
J.J. was our third computer cat,
preceded in death by Stutzi and Patsy,
                             also computer cats.
J.J. loved to come up to my desk,
quietly fold his paws and watch me
                             hunt and peck.
He is truly missed by all in our family.
We hope to see you again, some day,
                             J.J.

                               PROVERBS 4:10,11,14

                                  Hear, o my son,
                                  and receive my sayings,
and the years of thy life
                                  shall be many

                                  I have taught thee
                                  in the way of wisdom
                                  I have led thee
                                  in right paths

                                  The path of the just
                                  is as the shining light
                                  that shineth more and more
                                  unto the perfect day

GRADUATION 2020

                                                                 GRADUATION 2020

Whether it be from high school or from a university,
graduation is, indeed, a laudable accomplishment.
But, as most graduates soon realize, a degree is
                             seldom an end-all, be-all proposition.

Rather, graduation is the tying of a knot in our
rope of life. The graduation knot much more
signifies a beginning than an ending; a graduation
toward something as opposed to a graduation from
                             something.

It is impossible to change "the way we were," but
the possibilities for change toward "what we shall
become," are infinite. We can only expect to live
in the present as we rush toward the future. The
                             past is past.

With these thoughts in mind, perhaps gravitation, in
the long run, becomes more significant than graduation.

PURE COURTESY

                                                               PURE COURTESY

"Life is not so short," wrote
Emerson, "but there is always time
                                      for courtesy."

We live in a world of push
and shove.  In a world of give
                                      a little and take alot.
In a world in which the courteous person
becomes one of the fairest and rarest gems
                                      to contemplate.

While commenting on the life of the great
sportswriter, Grantland Rice, Bruce Barton said,
                                      "He had pure courtesy."

                                       What a great compliment...one
of the finest compliments any of us
                                       could receive.

Would not our lives be enriched
if every thought, or word, or deed
                                       were a courteous one?

Take time for courtesy. It is
                                       a most enviable attribute.

HAVE YOU ANY METTLE?

                                       HAVE YOU ANY METTLE?

                          My fellow Americans,

This is the time that challenges our mettle and our resolve,
for there are now many men and women who desire
to destroy our country and abolish the liberties and
freedoms we enjoy as set up at the beginning of our
                          country.

Fifty-nine years ago, thousands of our sons and daughters
went to war on two fronts:Europe and the Pacific. Many
of them sacrificed their lives and never returned home.

Today, we are at war again. But, this time the enemy
is not on foreign soil, but rather, resides within the
the very shores of the United States of America.
Presently, there is a very large contingency that is
planning and plotting the destruction of our country.

This evil mass of malcontents is bent on destroying
every business, church, and statue they encounter.
They have no regard for a human life, nor for a person's
                           homes or lands, or property.

These thugs do not care about our Constitution,                                                                   or the Bill of Rights contained therein. Laws and
the rule of laws mean nothing to them.

The burden of our country's defense is presently
carried on the shoulders of the police in each of
our cities, President Trump, and a few Republicans.
For personal gain, the Democrats, in total, support
                           and encourage the vandals.

These vandals must either be eradicated, incarcerated

or redeemed. There is no other course.
Time is short. The river of our generation
is about to flow into the ocean of history.

Now is the time to act and free our land
                           of these despots.
