BECKONING BEACONS
"When it is dark enough,"wrote
Emerson, "men see the stars."
There is no circumstance so dire,
no misfortune so great, no tragedy
so grievous as to hide from us the stars
of the Universe.
God's stars remind us that...
The heavier our burdens, the more weight
He shall bear.
The deeper our sorrows, the more love
He shall share.
As our nights grow darker, the more light
He shall prepare.
In the darkest of nights, God's solace
will be there.
God has given us the stars as beckoning
beacons of love and hope.
