BOOKS
"A book," wrote Edward P. Morgan,"is the
only place in which you can examine a fragile
thought without breaking it, or explore an
explosive idea without fear it will go off
in your face...
It is one of the few havens remaining where
a man's mind can get both provocation and privacy."
We thoroughly enjoy books. From them we can cull
the insights and wisdom of the literary giants of
the ages.
Their authors auspiciously speak to us and frame
with eloquence the thoughts and feelings of our
own minds and hearts.
Through books, our worlds are expanded both
inwardly and outwardly. We are prompted to
progress and go forward. To feel for humanity
and to witness inhumanity and to dream of peace
and prosperity for all who travel with us on this
globe.
Books...fragile and explosive...keys that open doors
and set us free.
Today we shall read some portion of a book and
continue to grow.
