CROCHET OR TOUCHE
Recently, our wife, Donna spent a few
hours teaching one of our best friends
how to crochet.
The first item they started crocheting
was an afghan blanket. They have
already completed over half of the
necessary squares.
In a recent telephone conversations,
one of our friends said to Donna, "I told
my husband that if our home ever caught
on fire, that I would grab our baby, you
save the afghan.
Have you ever thought of the many
blessings through the art of crocheting?
For instance, patience, persistence, willingness
to take out mistakes and then to start over
again. Following a pattern. The beauty that
may be obtained from seemingly monotonous
routine, and then having the satisfaction of
seeing a beautiful creation completed.
And many a wise spouse has learned that it
better to have crocheted than touched.
