EARLY SPRING
Can Spring come too early
For those who have had
A bitter Winter?
Where frost hath chilled hopes
And frozen warm relationships
Or stilled familiar voices.
Can Spring come too soon?
We think not.
Can Spring with its resurrection
Come too quickly
To wipe away stained cheeks
Or mend broken hearts
Or calm troubled souls?
Ah, we think not.
Come Spring, come early
Come soon.
