FOUR QUESTIONS
In his letter to the Philippians,
Paul asks four pertinent questions
of his brothers and sister in the church:
"Is there such a thing as Christians
cheering [for] each other?"
"Do you love men enough to want to
help [them]?"
"Does it mean anything to you that
we are brothers [and sisters]in the Lord?"
"Are your hearts tender and sympathetic
at all [toward others]?"
(LB Philippians 2:1)
These questions were asked by Paul
while he was imprisoned. He responded
to these questions by saying "Then make
me truly happy by loving each other and
agreeing wholeheartedly with each other,
working together with with one heart and
mind and purpose." (LB 2:2)
What will our answers be to these questions
this day?"
