GOOD EVENING, FRIENDS
"I don't like to commit myself
about heaven and hell," wrote
Mark Twain, "you see, I have
friends in both places,"
Isn't is interesting that those of us
within religious or church circles usually
assign our enemies to hell, while our heroes
and ourselves invariably obtain heaven.
Sometimes, we suspect there are too many
"defenders of the faith," and too few
"lovers of God and men."
Perhaps it would be a good idea to cultivate
as many friends as possible, so that when we
die, we'll not be totally surrounded by our
enemies.
With that thought in mind, we bid you,
"Good Evening...Friends."
