HIP-HIP HOORAY
Did you notice how the British stood up
and cheered every point scored by 14 year-old
Tracy Austin during the recent Wimbledon Tennis Championship?
Perhaps our British cousins, like their American
relatives, are fed up with the continual rude antics
of some of our more spoiled, nasty-mouthed overpaid
tennis stars.
Maybe we are beginning to yearn for heroes and heroines, young and old, who are fresh, courteous and clean in appearance and manner.
Tennis "bums" move over. Make way for the good players...
with the good manners.
