HOPING NOW AND FOR THE FUTURE
Sunday morning, March 29, 2020.
Writing this while still in my pajamas
and bathrobe. Won't be attending
church today and don't know when.
Typing right in the middle of a (Corona-
virus) pandemic, world wide, affecting
us all, every one of us, on this planet,
no exceptions. Global pain and sorrow
around the globe. Death has now taken
more than a hundred thousand of our
family members and neighbors. And,
the toll keeps rising on a daily basis,
without a clear ending in sight.
Many we know personally, have lost
their jobs.Thousands more will join
the unemployment line as the weeks
roll by.
But, all is not lost, for we still have hope.
A hope is not based on wishful thinking,
but on test results. There definite signs
that the coronavirus will be contained
and eventually eliminated.
So, let faith and hope overcome your
weariness and discouragement. And,
while the virus persists, the solutions
are at hand, and this too shall pass.
