INDECISIONS
In this life, man basically makes three
types of decisions...right ones, wrong ones and
indecisive ones.
Many essays have been penned in favor of
making right decisions. And ten times that
number have been penned regarding wrong
decisions.
But, we daresay there have been but a scant
handful that have been written, either pro or con,
concerning...indecisions.
Personally, when all the facts and evidence
are in, we believe the world would have been
much better off with more indecisiveness, not less.
Certainly, there would have been fewer wars,
if there had been more pondering and irresolution.
And, we firmly believe there would have much
fewer divorces had one or both parties said,
"I think I shall get a divorce from you, someday,
perhaps er, uh maybe in a little while," rather
than a quick, unreasoned "Good-bye, I'm leaving."
We believe the world has lasted as long as it has
because enough of us have hesitatingly vacillated
between...receiving and giving, between...hurting
and helping, living and dying.
Have we written enough concerning this subject?
We can't decide.
What do you think?
