INGRATITUDE
"In justice to ourselves." said William
George Jordan, "we should not permit the
Ingratitude of a few to make us condemn
the whole world."
The Bible refers to satan as "the father
of lies." Perhaps it would not be to inconsistent
with our knowledge of him to also call him "the
father of ingratitude."
In our work, our church, and even our home
we often discover an atmosphere and attitude
of ingratitude seeking to envelope us.
This should not be so. We, of all people, should
be most thankful. Our hearts should be filled
with joy.
Help us, Oh Father, not to become embittered
by the ingratitude of others, and be gracious
unto all.
