LOCKED DOORS
A few years ago, as I were leaving home,
I got into our car and then remembered
I had forgotten and left some needed papers
inside the house.
I hurried to the front door and tried to
quickly unlock it. As usual, when one is in
a hurry, this simple task took longer than my
patience would allow.
Finally, after getting in and out of the house
and back into our car (in a huff...after all, what
right did that door and lock have interfering with
my time schedule and slowing me down). As I
sat in the car, these thoughts began to materialize...
Who is the Master of our doors? Who is the
Keeper of our keys" Who is it that actually locks
and unlocks the doors to every new day of our lives?
Should we not be as grateful for closed and locked
doors as we are for those which are unlocked and
open?
If we were to fully understand our Heavenly
Father's master plan and design for our individual
lives, perhaps we might more graciously appreciate
locked doors.
