MOLDING GRANDCHILDREN
"The influence of individual character
extends from generation to generation.
The world is molded by it." So wrote
the Scottish clergyman, Alexander Macleod.
Virtually none of us live all ofour lives
in isolation.
Every day our spheres of influence widen.
Every day we rub shoulders with more
and more people.
Our thoughts, feelings, attitudes and
actions are continually being altered,
reinforced, and molded through our daily
communications with others.
And, we suspect that the character
traits of our grandchildren will largely
be the by-products of our character
influence on our own children.
May our grandchildren be noble in thought
gentle in word, and kind in deed.
