ONE MORE CHANCE
Sunday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy had
just settled down for a long afternoon nap.
As we began to doze off, we were suddenly
aware of a noise not unlike a National Guard
Battalion maneuvering back and forth on our
front porch.
We soon rounded up the four troopers
making all the commotion, told them to sit
in the living room without making a sound
until we stopped our hour's hibernation.
In about five minutes Colonel Matthew
(age 5) was at the side of our bed whispering
softly..."One more chance..." Needless to say,
his request was granted.
Oh father, how blessed we are...that each day,
each hour, each minute...is a brand new chance
to enjoy our children.
