SAINT PATRICK
“Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am.
Be still and know.
Be still.
Be.”
― St. Patrick
Saint Patrick was born in Scotland
in 387 A.D. to Roman parents.
When he was fourteen years old,
St. Patrick was captured by a raiding
party and was taken to Ireland to
serve as a slave.
When he was twenty years old,
Patrick escaped from his captors
and returned to his parents in Britain.
During this period of his life, St. Patrick
had a dream in which the people of
Ireland called out to him to "come and
walk among us once more."
St. Patrick went, and stayed in Ireland
for over forty years, converting many
to the Christian faith. He died at Saul,
County Down, Ireland on March 17,
461 A.D.
(May your lives be as rich as
the springtime grass is green.)
