SEEDS OF TODAY
From the pen of an unknown writer...
"All the flowers of tomorrow are the seeds
of today."
For many years, now, Donna and I (mainly
Donna), have been engaged in doing a little
gardening.
We plant in the spring, harvest and can at
the end of summer, and eat heartedly during
the fall and winter months.
And like many other would be farmers,
we discovered that if we desired to harvest
carrots, we don't plant cucumber seeds. (A
couple of summers ago, we planted what
we thought were watermelon seeds, and boy,
were we disappointed in August, as we
discovered we had planted squash.)
The message of life, horticulturally speaking,
is clear...We shall reap what we sow.
