THE HOT BOX
The other day, our fuse box*
became hot, and we had to call
an electrician to come and replace
it with a new one.
Fortunately, we had no problem
locating a good one, one who had
the expertise to solve our problem.
But, even he had a difficult time
finding a fuse box that was the
same size and shape as ours.
The search took about five days.
Perhaps the heated hot box was
used by God to let us know that
while he is interested in our problems,
his solutions are not always immediately
forthcoming.
To change, to be transformed, to have
our hot boxes cool down, usually
takes a period of time, in which we have
the opportunity to increase our patience
with ourselves, and with others.
(Good luck with this one, Morgan.
Yea, right! I should have been a doctor,
maybe then I would have had more
patience, sp!)
*You may have to take a while to explain
to your kids what a hot box was.
