THE WAITING ROOM
A few days ago, the flu bug bit vociferously,
and we sluggishly moped down to the office
of our family doctor and sat, somewhat impatiently,
in the waiting room.
While waiting, it dawned upon us that we should
write a few words on the subject of waiting, and
having a place to wait.
Unfortunately, the mechanisms of our society
encourage us to waste many of our waiting moments.
But, what would happen if, at a stop light, a lunch
break, or a doctor's office,we were to pause and
pray, to meditate and contemplate. Perhaps we
might witness the Universe moving...in an
upward direction.
In this life, there's a need, and plenty of room...
for waiting.
