TO LISTEN
One of our favorite authors, David Augsburger,
has written...
"The Golden Rule of Friendship is to listen to
others as you would have them listen to you."
Too many of us talk too often and listen too
little.
Often we listen with our ears, but fail to listen
with our minds and hearts.
Would you have children who carry warm memories
of home and of their parents through the rest of
their lives? Then, take time to listen to them while
they are young.
Blessed are those children who inherit parents who
listen intently, supportively, and enthusiastically
to what they have to say.
