WHAT SEEK YE?
Shortly after his baptism,
Jesus was approached by
two of his disciples. As they
came toward him, Jesus spoke
out and said, "What seek ye?"
(John 1:38-39)
What do we seek? Fame, fortune,
power, authority, popularity, security,
or... eternal life?
In the above scripture, the disciples
wanted to know where Jesus lived,
at least on the surface.
We suspect, however,
that they really wanted
to know who Jesus actually was, and
what he could do for them.
And Jesus replied, "Come and see."
If you qualify as one who is seeking,
we invite you to read the New Testament,
that you may come to see what Christ
may do for you.
What seek ye?...Come and see!
